We're getting ready to host the Ethical Horse Care and Training Residential with attendees coming from as far away as Germany to learn how to ensure that our equine partners stay healthy, happy and safe in all of our interactions.
We'll explore the equine ethogram through hands-on interaction with and observation of our herd of rescued horses. We will evaluate the ethics of various horse-keeping systems and explore the role of consent in horse training. We will also give coaching and one-to-one practice in ground-based horse training methods that put the horse's comfort and welfare at the forefront.
